The Balcony Walk is the most famous hike in Oman: a well-marked path along a ledge on the wall of the Grand Canyon below Jabal Shams, with the canyon floor far below and the peaks above. At its end, the deserted stone hamlet of Sab Bani Khamis hides beneath an overhang.
